Our company was founded in 1982 by its current owner Mark Hashman, a second-generation general contractor with more than 30 years construction experience. Hashman moved to Jacksonville from the Midwest in 1971 as an estimator/expeditor for the S.S. Jacob Co. on multi-family apartment, condominium, office, and retail project. He later was named vice president at N. Guzzardo Co., serving as project manager on a variety of multi-family residential and commercial projects.
During our two decades of existence, Hashman Construction has built a strong reputation for integrity and quality. We measure our success by one standard – client satisfaction before, during and after the completion of a project. A Hashman construction project – The Plaza Building in Jacksonville – received a Florida Trust for historic Preservation award for Outstanding Preservation Project in the adaptive use of a historic structure. We take great pride in our work, and it shows in our results.
